Keep a loved one's handwriting close: a signature, a note, a child's first drawing. We engrave your handwriting, drawing or other image on your piece for R1,200 per piece. It adds 5 working days, and nothing is engraved until you've approved a proof.
How it works
- On the product page, open the engraving box and choose Handwriting or drawing.
- Upload a photo or scan, or tick “I'll email the image after ordering” and send it to sales@wanderlust.jewelry with your order number.
- Our engraver prepares the design and we email you a proof. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.
- We engrave, photograph and send your piece.
Getting a good image
- A sharp photo or scan, taken straight on in daylight.
- Handwriting works best in dark pen on white paper.
- Simple line drawings engrave best; fine shading may be simplified.
Rings
A ring band is narrow, so the design is sized to the band. On rings with stones we engrave inside the band, clear of the stones. The proof shows exactly how it will look.
Fingerprints and paw prints

Your image and your privacy
We use your image only to engrave your piece and never share it beyond our engraver. We delete our copies (the engraver's design file, emails and attachments) 30 days after delivery. More in Your image and your privacy.
Returns
Personalised pieces are made for you, so they can't be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. See Returns & exchanges.
