Choose a ring that fits the finger you're buying for.
Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside , edge to edge, at the widest point, in millimetres. Don't include the metal.

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, where the ring will sit. It should be snug, but still slide over your knuckle.
Mark where the paper meets with a pen.
Lay the strip flat on a ruler and read the length in millimetres.
Enter the number above (choose "around your finger"), or find it in the inside circumference column.
Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm and slightly larger.
If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.
Between two sizes? Choose the larger one, especially for wide bands.
Paper is better than string, which stretches. Measure two or three times.
3 Print our ring sizerA finger strip and ring circles on two A4 pages.
Check before you measure: printers often shrink pages to fit, which gives the wrong size. Print at 100% / Actual size with "Fit to page" off, then measure the check lines on the sheet with a ruler. Each must be exactly 80 mm; if not, print again.

Bangles
A closed bangle has to pass over your hand. Bring your thumb towards your little finger, as if putting on a bangle, and measure around the widest part of your hand. Choose a bangle 1–2 cm larger, or compare the inside diameter of a bangle that already fits. Cuffs and open bangles are sized by the wrist, like bracelets.

About Peridot
Peridot is the gem form of the mineral olivine, ranging from brownish green through yellowish green to pure green. Its colour comes from iron, which is part of its chemistry.
Birthstone August Hardness 6.5–7 (Mohs) Everyday wear Peridot has fair to good toughness and is durable enough for jewellery, but should be protected from scratches and hard knocks. Care Clean with warm, soapy water and avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Keep it away from acids and sudden heat. Meaning and tradition The ancient Egyptians called peridot the 'gem of the sun', and in folklore it was worn as a talisman against evil spirits and 'terrors of the night', especially when set in gold. It is the gem for 16th wedding anniversaries. Meanings and traditions are beliefs people have held about these stones, not proven effects, and are no substitute for medical advice.
